CHARITIES

The Knoxville Open is proud to support the following charities.

The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. Currently serving 6,738 members, ages 5 to 17 years, in the Tennessee Valley area, including Knox County, Blount County, Loudon County, Fentress County, and North Anderson County.

The Knox Area Junior Golf Association (KAJGA) is a Tennessee 501 (c) (3) corporation organized in 1983, which became The First Tee of Knoxville in 1999. The mission of the association is quite simple-“To teach life’s lessons through a family-oriented golf program, to protect and preserve golf’s rich tradition and heritage, to secure golf’s future for tomorrow’s golfers.”

Partners in Sports
The Adidas Partners in Sports program is a cooperative venture involving Adidas America and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville's professional preparation program in Sport Management. Partners in Sports encourage the development of leaders for the growing sports industry throughout the world and attempt to elevate the status of the Sport Management program at UT.

Emerald Youth Foundation
Emerald Youth Foundation (EYF) is a faith-based, urban children and youth ministry in the heart of Knoxville. The ministry grew out of a vision of Emerald Avenue United Methodist Church in 1988 to serve children and youth in its low to moderate income community in North Knoxville, the Oakwood/Lincoln Park neighborhood.
